Time: Meet 8:45 AM/ Roll 9:00 AM We are starting earlier so we can roll with the Training Series group
Location: Corte Madera Town Park (Pixley Avenue side) 26 Pixley Avenue, Corte Madera ***public bathrooms available near the tennis courts.
Arrival: Please be READY by the MEET time to listen to the Ride Leader's introduction, safety brief and any special instructions
Sign Up: Our rides are open to all. Non members/visitors are welcome to the 1st ride by registering in advance and signing a liability release online; for the 2nd ride and thereafter it is our club policy to have non-members sign up as a Marin Cyclists club member
Pace: Social Pace 12-13.5 mph for the entire ride including the climbs. Not a race.
Route: Paradise Loop clockwise
Regroups: Regroups as determined by the Ride Leader(s), mostly at major turns. Restroom stop at Blackie's Pasture public restrooms
Description: Come hang with the WSS crew for a good old Paradise Loop which you've probably ridden about 300 times already:). We'll ride with the Marin Century Training Series group at our Social Pace. This familiar route offers a refreshing twist. We roll through Paradise Drive first, clockwise, then do the Belvedere climb with the photo op and save the best for last, the northbound Camino Alto 300 footer little hill. We descend and that's it. Post ride stop will be Humble Cheeseburger Food Truck at the Corte Madera Town Park Pixley Avenue parking lot. $10-$18, single, 2X and 3X patties smash burger "done right". Registration Info
Registration is required
-All riders must register to ride, members and non-members
-20% or more chance of rain at noon cancels the ride
-Must wear a helmet
-Please make sure your bike is in good maintenance
-Bring spare tube(s), mini pump/C02, or tubeless repair kit as necessary
-Day time running lights are highly recommended
-Please obey all traffic rules
-Share the road, ride as far to the right as practicable
-Please download the route to your bike computer or print out a route sheet
