About this event

Train with us for the Marin Century! This ride is the twelfth of 13 weekly Sundays gradually progressing, to get you ready to ride 100 miles on August 1.
It's time to taper! Just 40 miles this week. Piece of cake. Start at Split Rock Tap & Wheel in Fairfax, ride to Pt Reyes Station via Nicasio Valley, then return through Samuel P Taylor Park. There are some extra wiggles near Pt Reyes Station to pad the mileage. Wheels roll at 9:00 am. Pace will be social to leisurely, averaging 12 - 17 mph moving speed, depending on the participants.
Road bikes are recommended. Make sure you have one, full, large water bottle. Coffee stop in Pt Reyes Station is at about the mid point. Nicasio (mile 9) has water and toilets. Pt Reyes Station (mile 21) has coffee, snacks, and restrooms. Samuel P Taylor Park (mile 30) has water and restrooms.
You can come along whether you are riding the Century or participated in the earlier rides of this series or not. It is open to all comers.
